Sourav Ganguly gives special advice to Virat Kohli before the WTC final

New Delhi: They have shared the stage of World Cricket Championship i.e. Test Cricket World Cup. The India-New Zealand team is all set for today’s match. Team India has announced its playing XI just a day before the match. Despite a bad season in Southampton, Virat Kohli has decided to reach the final with three fast bowlers and two spinners. In addition to Bumrah and Shami, Kohli has expressed confidence in Ishant Sharma in the final. While Jadeja and Ashwin have decided to play together.

Before the match, former India captain Sourav Ganguly has given a piece of advice to Virat Kohli. Ganguly has asked Kohli to bat after winning the toss. He also gave a reason behind this earlier.

In an interview to the website, Ganguly said, “If we open the record book and see the best performance on India’s foreign soil, every time we win a match when we have batted first.” This is a choice where you want to face the pressure initially in the opposite situation. Or want to wait the fourth inning.

“If you watch a match against Leeds in 2002 or 2018 in South Africa, we batted first in helpful conditions for the bowlers,” he added. And initially soaked up the pressure. Then we ran on the scoreboard and that’s how we won the match.
