Against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), in the sixth match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020, Kings XI Punjab captain KL Rahul played a superb unbeaten century of 132 off 69 balls. In this match, Punjab defeated RCB by 97 runs.
Praising Rahul’s match-winning innings, Rohit Sharma tweeted, “KL Rahul made some great shots. Noble century ”.
Rahul is the first batsman to score a century in this IPL, while this is the second century in Rahul’s IPL history. Let me tell you that Rahul has set many records to his name since this century. Rahul has become the highest individual scorer in the IPL in India. He also became the fastest Indian to score 2,000 runs. He broke the eight-year-old record of veteran Indian batsman and former Mumbai Indians player Sachin Tendulkar. Tendulkar scored so many runs in 63 innings, while Rahul achieved this feat in 60 innings.
