New Delhi: Mumbai Indians (MI) star all-rounder Hardik Pandya was strangely dismissed during the fifth match of the 13th season of the IPL. No one understood how this happened. Bowler Andre Russell was also taken aback.
Indeed, Hardik Pandya became a ‘hit wicket’ in the match against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). The third ball of the 19th over, which was a yorker – shocked Pandya and he suddenly swallowed and the LED went on. Pandya kept watching what happened?

In fact, Pandya was going further back in trying to play Russell’s yorker and his bat hit the wicket bringing it down. Pandya started walking back to the pavilion smiling. Russell, on the other hand, watched in silence as he did not get a chance to celebrate the wicket.
Pandya was the fastest wicket-taker with 18 off 13 balls. This is the first hit wicket of the season. He certainly hit sixes in this innings. He was aiming at some of the remaining balls, but that didn’t happen. He had earlier scored 14 in the first match against Chennai.
