Kings XI Punjab captain KL Rahul has retained the Orange Cap so far, but the cap could be worn on the heads of other batsmen after the final match.
In the 13th season, KL Rahul performed brilliantly, scoring 670 runs in 14 matches at an average of 55.83. KL Rahul has scored one century and five half centuries this season. Since the opening match of the season, KL Rahul has retained the Orange Cap so far.
But Sunrisers Hyderabad captain David Warner has also put his claim on the Orange Cap with excellent performances in the last few matches. David Warner has scored 546 runs in 15 matches at an average of 42. David Warner is set to play one more match in the IPL. If Warner’s team beats Delhi in the qualifiers to get the final ticket, Warner could snatch the orange cap off KL Rahul’s head.
