IPL 2020: Kings XI squad to change, KKR could be Playing XI


New Delhi: A double header will be played in the 13th season of the Indian Premier League on Saturday, October 10. In the first match, Kings XI Punjab will take on Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). The match will start at 3.30pm. Today’s match could see many changes in the Kings XI Punjab team. At the same time, KKR’s team can take the field without any change.

Kings XI Punjab will do their best to stay in the play-off race against KKR at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Dubai. After winning three of the five matches, KKR will aim to strengthen their position in the points table with one more win.

Kings XI Punjab have lost five of their last six matches. If a Punjab team loses one or two matches, it will be out of the play-off race completely.

Chris Gayle’s return to the Kings XI Punjab squad in a do-or-die situation is being considered today. Chris Gayle will be seen handling the opening with Mayank Agarwal, while captain KL Rahul could bat at number three. Mural Ashwin and Sarfaraz Khan could also return to the Punjab squad.

KKRA gave Rahul Tripathi a start in the last match and this young batsman lived up to the expectations of the team. Rahul Tripathi played an innings of 81 runs. KKR’s squad is unlikely to change today.
