BCCI president Sourav Ganguly discharged from hospital, returns home after angioplasty

New Delhi: BCCI President Sourav Ganguly was today discharged from the Apollo Hospital in Kolkata. He was admitted to Apollo Hospital on January 27. January 29 was his second angioplasty. Ganguly, 48, underwent angioplasty on Thursday by a team of doctors including renowned cardiologists Dr Devi Shetty and Dr Ashwin Mehta. Ganguly was admitted to hospital for the second time in a month on Wednesday due to a heart problem.

A picture of Sourav Ganguly has come out of the hospital today. The former Indian captain underwent angioplasty a day earlier and two more stents were inserted to remove a blockage in his coronary artery. In the first week of January, Sourav Ganguly was admitted to Woodlands Hospital in South Kolkata due to sudden illness.
