The right-handed batsman has scored 810 runs in 57 ODIs for India, while he has scored 236 runs in 22 matches. Yusuf Pathan has also scored 2 ODI centuries and 3 half centuries. Yusuf has also claimed 33 ODIs and 13 T20 wickets.
Yusuf Pathan announced his retirement on Twitter on Friday. He has thanked his fans by posting a very emotional message. Yusuf Pathan said, “I remember the day I wore the Indian jersey for the first time. Not only did I wear that jersey, it was worn by my family, coaches, friends and all over India. My childhood, life has been spent in cricket and I have also played international, domestic and IPL cricket but today something is different. Today is not a World Cup or IPL final but this is an equally important day. Today I take a complete break from my career here as a cricketer. I am officially announcing my retirement. ‘
