Testing of 5G service in the country will start, the speed of internet will increase many times

MUMBAI: The Internet revolution in India is accelerating and after 4G, preparations for the 5G internet service have begun. The 5G service was tested for the first time in the country. Telecom major Bharti Airtel has become the first company in the country to have a 5G network facility and has also started live testing. The company recently upgraded its network in Hyderabad to 5G mode and offered 5G speeds to all. Doing so, however, was part of the trial. In fact the company has upgraded its network and towers according to the 5G network, which can also work on 5G technique along with 4G.

Airtel said in a statement, “The company has also upgraded 5G technology along with 4G technology on the 1800MHz band. Due to which with a few changes the company will be able to provide network facility in 5G mode. At present we do not have spectrum and neither the government has taken any final decision on spectrum. So when the spectrum is made available by the government we will be fully upgraded to 5G network. However, we have a 5G technology based system in a very short time and we are the first company in India to do so. For this we organized testing of new technique in Hyderabad. The results were very good. Some customers of the company said that they downloaded the entire movie in 5G network within seconds.

Airtel has changed its technique in such a way that it will be able to implement 5G technology in no time. 5G mode will get 10 times more speed from Airtel. However, the company will be able to provide 5G service to all its customers in the country only after getting 5G spectrum only after the government’s order.

Gopal Vittal, MD and CEO, Bharti Airtel, said, “Our engineers have worked tirelessly day and night to show that we have the capability to provide 5G technology based service. We have always been at the forefront of facilitating customers. We are confident that India will move forward by becoming a global hub in 5G technology.
