New Delhi: Paytm dispute with Google is still unresolved. Now Vijay Shekhar Sharma, the founder of Paytm, has called for the formation of a new group in which Indian tech companies are given a fair go.
Vijay Shekhar Sharma said that industry companies like Nasscom and IAMAI are dominated by American companies. Therefore, by creating such a platform all the local tech companies can be properly represented.
Paytm has accused multinational search engine Google of illegal and arbitrary behavior. Paytm said the cricket-based betting service is being provided only by Google Pay.
What is the issue
In fact, Google temporarily removed Paytm’s app from its app store ‘Play Store’ after the September 18 policy update before the IPL cricket tournament. Paytm’s app was able to return to the Play Store when the cashback facility was withdrawn from the cricket-related facility.

According to the Economic Times, Vijay Shekhar Sharma said, “American companies like NASSCOM and IAMAI dominate the industry. Therefore, by creating such a platform, all local tech companies can be reasonably represented. He said the founders of Indian companies were talking about the issue.
