The Chief Minister gave this eco-friendly gift to the citizens of the state as a Panchsheel gift of five development schemes in the state to celebrate the 70th birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. A plan of Rs 50 lakh has also been implemented in the state to set up infrastructural facilities for battery powered vehicles. Efforts were made to increase the use of clean fuels like CNG in vehicle transactions with Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation and Gujarat Gas.
