Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case, hearing on bail application of accused on September 29


The accused, who were arrested by the NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau) in the Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case, have applied to the High Court for release after their bail application was rejected by the Sessions Court. During today’s hearing before Justice Sarang Kotwal, the ruling party sought time to reply to the petition. The High Court adjourned the hearing till September 29, giving the government a deadline.

Riya Chakraborty’s colleague Samuel Miranda, who was booked in Sushant’s suicide case, was arrested in a drugs case, while drug peddler Abdul Basit Parihar and Sushant’s housemaid Deepesh Sawant were arrested. The three had applied for bail in the High Court after the sessions court rejected their bail pleas. The hearing was held before Justice Sarang Kotwal today. At that time, the NCB as well as the Center sought time to reply in this regard. The High Court adjourned the hearing till September 29.
