Us continues but who are the young Connie and Douglas actors? There are a number of reasons why they may seem rather familiar.
If you were asked to finger-count the good things to happen in 2020, we imagine you’d perhaps still have one hand tucked away in your pocket.
It surely has been one for the books so far and for all the wrong reasons.
However, TV enthusiasts have fortunately still had plenty to appreciate thanks to a wealth of great shows making their way to screens.
From Tiger King to The Boys season 2, there have been a number of shows to celebrate, whether we’re talking new arrivals or fresh seasons of familiar favourites.
Back when we went into lockdown, many of us were quick to become better acquainted with our sofas and screens. Considering the pandemic has affected production, it’s still been impressive as to how much content we’ve been invited to watch.
At the moment, all eyes are on Us and its sensational cast.
Let’s take a moment to highlight two of them…
Us: Young Connie and Douglas actors
Throughout the BBC series Us, the younger Connie and Douglas are played by Iain De Caestecker and Gina Bramhill.
The four-part comedy series is based on David Nicholls’ 2014 novel of the same and stars Tom Hollander as Douglas Peterson and Saskia Reeves as Connie Peterson.
We follow the Petersons on a holiday across Europe in the wake of news that Connie is contemplating leaving as their son Albie (played by Tom Taylor) sets off for college.
We see the young Douglas and Connie in flashbacks, he a scientist and she an artist, both of whom meet at a dinner party.
You’ll recognise Tom from The Night Manager and Rev, whereas Saskia was in the likes of Belgravia and Luther.
So, what about Iain and Gina?
