New ITV documentary Fergie’s Killer Dresser: The Jane Andrews Story tells the story of Jane Andrews, who was convicted of killing Tom Cressman in 2001.
Tom’s brother, Rick Cressman, appeared on This Morning with Phil and Holly to discuss his brother and share his thoughts on the documentary and the case. The ITV documentary airs March 3rd, 2021 at 9pm.
During the This Morning interview, Rick stated that he is nine years older than Tom, and told Holly and Phil that Tom was his family’s “pride and joy.”
Rick also said that he chose to take part in interviews in order to try to “protect Tom’s character.”
Who is Rick Cressman?
Rick Cressman is the older brother of Tom Cressman, the man who was murdered in 2000 by Jane Andrews.
Rick appeared on This Morning with Phil and Holly to discuss the documentary and his brother, Tom Cressman.
Speaking about Jane Andrews, Rick said that “possessiveness ate her relationship alive.” During the interview on This Morning, Rick also commented that he felt that “Tommy was really being abused by her.”
“Ever since then, I think the police react quite differently to a man being under pressure. I think it was kind of dismissed prior to this situation, now I think they are much more understanding that a woman can actually be the driving force and aggressor in a situation like this.”
ITV’s Jane Andrews documentary released
The documentary “explores the case of Jane Andrews, who was the former dresser to Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, and was convicted of murder after police discovered the bloodied body of her millionaire boyfriend Tom Cressman.”
