Purandar: Many villages in Purandar taluka have been severely damaged due to cloudburst. Some people’s houses, some their crops and some their gardens have been destroyed. Former Minister of State Vijay Shivtare has directed the district and taluka administration to immediately start panchnama and take appropriate action to help the farmers as soon as possible.
Shivtare has immediately written to District Collector Rajendra Deshmukh and informed Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, Sub-Divisional Officer Pramod Gaikwad and Tehsildar Rupali Sarnobat. In this regard, Shivtare said, the farmer has already lost at the time of Corona. The state of the supplementary business is also somewhat fragile as milk is not getting adequate prices. This is the double crisis of cloudburst and heavy rains. Therefore, I have informed the Collector to take immediate action. Shivtare also said that if there are any complaints about the Panchnama, they should contact me directly.
Meanwhile, Saswad, Pimple, Pangare, Pilanwadi, Yadavwadi, Parinche, Rautwadi, Veer, Pingori, Daundaj, Walhe, Harani, Jeur, Mandki and many other villages have been hit hard.
