Urban Grain Scam: District Collector Conducts Surprise Checking
Due to the alleged food scam in the city of Panchmahal, the district collector formed different teams and conducted surprise checking at all government godowns in the district. In which, a shocking thing came up.
A surprise check by the collector found the sacks of salt provided free by the government at the back of Halol’s godown in a burnt condition. The amount of salt became unusable due to the negligence of the Halol godown manager. A report of surprise checking will be submitted to the District Collector on the basis of which action will be taken.
