Anime fans are wondering who The Way of the Househusband Voice Cast is after the first season’s release was well received. We have the rundown!

The Way of the Househusband (Gokushufudo) is an anime adaptation by a manga of the same name which released in February 2018 and is ongoing. The manga was so well received that a TV drama was developed by Fine Entertainment in 2020.

The anime adaptation was picked up by Netflix and released its first season earlier today, consisting of 5. Season 1 already sits at a high rating of 8.6/10 on IMDB (At the time of writing). With the show doing so well within the first day of its release fans can’t help but wonder about who the voices are behind the characters.

So, just who are the voice cast of The Way of the Househusband?

The voice cast for the anime’s first season, are as follows:

Kenjiro Tsuda as Tatsu

Kenjiro Tsuda is a Japanese actor, voice actor, narrator and film director. He was born on 11th June 1971 in the Osaka Prefecture, Japan. He attended Meiji University and graduated in the theatre program. He is married and has 2 children.

Tsuda’s debut role in voice acting was in 1995 in the TV series ‘H2’. He is well known for his work on ‘Attack on Titan’ (2015-2018), ‘Tiger & Bunny’ (2011) and ‘Boruto: Naruto Next Generations’ (2020-2021).

He has been credited with over 180 acting roles and is expected to appear in at least 7 roles for this year, though all of the series he features in have been released, such as ‘Horimiya’ and ‘To Your Eternity. Outside of these, he is not set to appear in any upcoming roles. You can follow him on his Instagram account below, though it is not yet verified with a blue tick, this account is thought to belong to Tsuda.

Shizuka Ito as Miku

Shizuka Ito is a Japanese voice actress born on 5th December 1980 in Tokyo, Japan. She is also well known as a singer. There is not much known about her personal life but here is what we do know.

Ito is signed to Ken Production and has received the ‘Best Actress in Supporting roles’ award for her work on ‘Prison School’ (2015-2016) and ‘Sailor Moon’ (2014). She is said to be married and announced this in December 2020. Ito is most well known for her voice acting in ‘D.Gray-man’ (2006) and ‘Texhnolyze’ (2003).

She has appeared in over 190 acting roles and for this year has appeared in 4 TV series so far, one of which includes The Way of the Househusband. There are no named upcoming roles for her at the time of writing. There are also no known social media accounts that belong to her.

Kazuyuki Okitsu as Masa

Kazuyuki Okitsu is a Japanese voice actor born on 8th March 1980 in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. He graduated from Osaka University of Arts and is represented by Kekke Corporation. There is not much known about his personal life but here is what we were able to find on his career.

Okitsu has been acting from as early as 2005, where he first appeared in ‘Onegai My Melody’. Since then he has gone on to appear in over 120 credited roles. He is most well known for his work on ‘JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure’ (2013) and ‘Fruits Basket’ (2019-2021).

His works for this year include ‘Muteking the Dancing Hero’ and The Way of the Househusband, both of which are in post-production. He does not have an Instagram account but he is thought to have a Twitter account as below, though this account is not verified. (The caption translates to “Click ! !”.

The Way of the Househusband season 1 is now available to watch on Netflix.
