Netflix’s latest Korean drama, ‘Sisyphus: The Myth’ is set to release later this week around the world. Fans are dying to know, who the cast is of this fantasy series.
The series is directed by Jin Hyuk, who is also known for his work on ‘Legend of the Blue Sea’ (2016) and ‘City Hunter’ (2011), both of which he also directed.
The first episode of the series is set to air on Wednesday, 17th February 2021 and will be available to watch on Netflix. The series will comprise of 16 episodes and will be released weekly until 8th April 2021, when the final episode is scheduled for.
Fans are aching to know all about who will star in the futuristic series. So, just who is the cast of Sisyphus?

Park Shin-Hye as Kang Seo Hae
Park Shin-Hye is a South Korean actress, she was born on 18th February 1990 in Gwangju. Her brother is guitarist and composer Park Shin-Won. She has a degree in Theatre, which she achieved in 2016 and has been acting for shy of 2 decades, dating back to 2003. It was then that she starred in K-drama, ‘Stairway to Heaven’.
In her upcoming series, she is set to play, Kang Seo Hae, a mysterious time traveller who has to find Han Tae Sul, an intelligent engineer.
The soon to be 31-year-old actress, is well known for her roles in ‘The Heirs’ (2013) and ‘#Alive’ (2020).
Her upcoming works include Sisyphus: The Myth. At the time of writing this, we can not confirm that she will star in more series later this year. You can follow her on her official Instagram page below!
Cho Seung-woo as Han Tae Sul
Cho Seung-Woo is a South Korean born actor. He was born on 12th February 1980. His father and sister are also in the show biz industry. Cho’s breakthrough role was in 2005 in ‘Marathon’ however he has been acting from as early as 1999.
Cho is well known for his roles in ‘Marathon’ (2005), ‘Bimilui Soop’ (2017) and ‘Chunhyang’ (2000). He has no upcoming roles that we are aware of at the time of writing this, other than in Sisyphus: The Myth.
In the upcoming series, he will play Han Tae-Sul, a highly intelligent engineer who is celebrated for his work. After witnessing the events of his brother’s death, things start unravelling and his life is put in danger.
He is not known to be on social media however, he has various fan pages set up on behalf of him, where his fans diligently post his highlights.
Sung Dong-il as President Park
Sung Dong-Il is a well recognised South Korean actor, he works under Star Entertainment. Sung was born on 27th April, 1964 in Incheon, South Korea. He has been married to actress, Park Kyung-Hye since 2003 and has 3 children with her.
He has been active in his acting career from as early as 1987 and is well known for his roles in ‘Take off’ (2009), ‘It’s Okay, That’s Love’ (2014) and ‘Jang Ok-Jung, Living by Love’ (2013).
His upcoming roles include him in Sisyphus: The Myth and a TV series titled ‘Mount Jiri‘ (2021)

Sisyphus: The Myth is set to air in Korea on Wednesday, 17th February 2021, for some it may be on Thursday, 18th February 2021, depending on your time zone.
