Revealed robbery of private schools in the name of tuition fees, parents file petition in High Court


Private schools in Surat have been accused of openly robbing parents in the name of tuition fees. The All Students and Parents Welfare Association has filed a petition in the Gujarat High Court in this regard. A petition has been filed against FRC, District Education Officer and Education Department of Gujarat Government as a party.

According to the association, private schools are charging more than the tuition fees fixed by the state government. In this regard, representations have been made in the departments including Surat District Education Officer, FRC. However, no action has been taken yet.

Currently, the All Students and Parents Welfare Association is fighting through Gandhi Chidya. At the time of submission in the High Court, a petition has been filed against the Surat District Education Officer, FRC and the Education Department of the State Government.
