A U.S. federal court has allowed the Biden administration to deport non-resident children crossing the southern border.
Columbia’s appeals court has allowed the trial court’s ruling to be overturned. The process was initiated by the Trump administration, which was rocked by a lower court.
The Trump administration decided to expel people from across the border in view of the Corona virus. In 2020, in three months, more than one lakh eighty thousand cases were taken out. More than 8,800 children were deported before the federal court ruling. Some of these children were less than nine years old. No U.S. Department of State has commented on the matter.
U.S. Civil Rights Attorney Lee Gull has said the court’s decision has temporarily pushed the children to justice. He hoped the Biden administration would not run the hearing decision, but would find another way into this illegal policy.
