Once again, there is a golden opportunity for those who want to buy cheap gold and silver, as prices in both the countries have come down significantly. Gold prices plunged by Rs 679 to Rs 44,760 per 10 grams in Delhi’s jewelery market on Tuesday, the lowest level since June last year. Like gold, silver also had a big bang. Silver traded lower by Rs 1,847 today to Rs 67,073 per kg. On Monday, gold was trading at Rs 45,439 per 10 grams and silver at Rs 68,920 per kg in Delhi.
In the Ahmedabad jewelery market, gold fell by Rs 600 to Rs 47,200 per 10 grams. However, silver rose by Rs 500 to Rs 69,500 per kg. Last Monday, gold was sold at Rs 47,800 and silver at Rs 69,000 in Ahmedabad.
The main reasons for the current fall in gold and silver prices are the weakening of both the precious metals in the global market and the strengthening of the Indian rupee against the US dollar. Gold fell ડો 15 to 19 1,719 an ounce in international trade today. Silver was down half a percent at .0 26.08 an ounce.
