Johnson & Johnson vaccine approved in America, just one dose is enough

Johnson & Johnson’s one-dose vaccine has been approved in the fight against the corona virus in the United States. The Food and Drug Administration has approved Johnson’s vaccine as a third vaccine. President Joe Biden has called it an incentive for the American people. “We will soon get rid of this virus, get back to our friends and loved ones and get our economy back on track,” he said.

That said, the Johnson & Johnson vaccine is starting to show its effects after the first dose. The Emergency Use Authority (EUA) had earlier approved the two-dose Moderna and Pfizer vaccines in December last year.

Unlike the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines, the Johnson Corona vaccine is given in a single dose. While the other two vaccines require two shots within two weeks. The EU has approved the introduction of Johnson’s corona vaccine into the United States for people 18 years of age or older.

FDA Acting Commissioner Janet Woodcock said the Johnson & Johnson vaccine is being paid to expand the availability of vaccines in the country and help fight the epidemic, which has claimed the lives of more than 500,000 people in the United States. The FDA said available data show that Johnson’s corona vaccine is effective in preventing infection.

On the other hand, deaths from corona are steadily rising in the US. A total of 5 lakh 12 thousand people have lost their lives so far. Earlier, a candle was lit at the White House to commemorate the death.
