Is MacGyver cancelled? Let’s get the renewal status explained. Will there be a season 6 for the CBS series starring Lucas Till?
Remakes and reboots can often be pretty difficult to navigate. Indeed, when you’re approaching a beloved and iconic character, it’s difficult to know what to change and what to to maintain.
Some projects have perished trying to bring something new to the table, and similarly, others have been met with hostility after changing almost nothing from the original.
On the other hand, fans of MacGyver would argue that Peter M. Lenkov’s CBS series managed to breathe new life into Angus “Mac” MacGyver successfully, serving up a string of exciting adventures with Lucas Till in the titular role.
The series premiered back in 2016 and takes place in the same shared universe as Hawaii Five-0 and Magnum P.I, often referred to as the Lenkov-verse.
However, recent news has disheartened fans. Is MacGyver cancelled?
