Your Honor continues, but how many episodes are there? When does the finale air? Let’s get the series’ length explained and look ahead.
Last year ushered in a string of acclaimed titles on our screens, from glossy blockbusters to gritty TV mini-series.
On the television side of things, some would argue that one of the biggest highlights snuck in just in time with Your Honor.
Developed by Peter Moffat, the series stars Bryan Cranston, Hunter Doohan, Hope Davis and more, serving as an adaptation of an Israeli series called Quota.
It began premiering on Showtime back in December and audiences have been chronicling its gripping narrative throughout January and February 2021.
However, after the events of episode 9, the time has come to enquire about its future.
So, how many episodes of Your Honor are there?
Your Honor: How many episodes?
- Your Honor is made up of 10 episodes in total. It is billed as a TV mini-series and there are currently no plans for a follow-up season.
The finale – titled ‘Part Ten’ – will air on Showtime on Sunday, February 14th 2021, at 10 pm.
While some limited-series have been resurrected for more episodes down the line due to demand and popularity, the press release for Your Honor suggests that it will end with episode 10: “The ninth episode will air Sunday, February 7th at 10pm. The following Sunday, on February 14th at 10pm, the series concludes with the finale, directed by series star and executive producer Bryan Cranston.”
However, Peter Moffat hints that it’s not necessarily worth ruling out entirely…
Peter Moffat on potential Your Honor season 2
While speaking with Assignment X, Peter Moffat was told that Hope Davis referred to “this season,” as opposed to next season. So, they asked him whether season 2 could be on the cards:
“Hope obviously knows much more than me. [laughs] That’s kind of great. It’s written as a limited series, as a one-off. It finishes. There’s a beginning, a middle, and an end at the end of Episode 10. But I would be being dishonest if I were to say to you that, as a writer, I don’t think about some of the things that might go in Episode 11.”
He added: “Of course I do, albeit idly at the moment. So, we’ll see. Let’s hope people like it, and if they like it enough, then I guess there’s a conversation to be had.”
