IDFC FIRST Bank has made several important announcements for its employees to get relief from Corona. According to an announcement made by the bank, if an employee dies from corona, the family will receive four times the annual CTC in the form of compensation. Apart from this, the family will continue to get full salary for the next two years.
Giving this information, the managing director of the bank V Vaidyanathan said, “Most of the employees are young. So if someone dies, any family is left in a state of shock. We have made some important decisions to help them. Apart from this, the bank has decided to waive all types of loans including home loan, car loan, personal loan, bike loan, education loan of its employees. “Forgiving the loan will reduce the burden on his family,” Vaidyanathan said. As an employer, we want to help them. ‘
This type of loan will be completely forgiven
The bank has now taken this decision. In it, he is now trying to find out how many employees have been affected by such a problem during the Corona era, which could benefit them. The managing director of the bank said that if any employee has taken a loan from the bank, all his loans will be forgiven. Home loans up to Rs 25 lakh will be waived. Its deadline is June 30, 2021.

Let’s understand with an example how a home loan will be forgiven. So suppose “A” works in IDFC FIRST Bank and has taken a home loan of Rs 30 lakh. His loan of Rs 25 lakh will be forgiven and his family will have to deposit only Rs 5 lakh. Employees taking home loans will also be offered a reduction in EMI. In case of death of the employee, his family will be able to pay less EMI for the next two years.
Spouse will get Rs 2 lakh for learning the skill
An estimated 20 employees of the bank have died in the Corona period, V Vaidyanathan said. We are trying to get in touch with their family and warn them about the benefits. If an employee’s spouse wants to get a job, we will also give him a job. If they are not fit to work with our bank then Rs 2 lakh will be given separately to skill themselves.
Rs 10,000 per month will be given for the study of children till graduation
The bank’s managing director said, “The benefit of compensation will continue as long as this epidemic continues. Apart from this, the bank has also announced ‘Employee Covid Care Scheme 2021’. 30 thousand rupees will be given as funeral expenses on the death of the employee. 2 children will be given Rs. 10 thousand per month for study till graduation. If you want to re-locate his family, you will get Rs 50,000 separately. Apart from this, the employee will also get a day’s bonus for the number of days he worked.
An important step taken for their customers
Apart from this, the bank has announced the launch of Employee Funded Program ‘Ghar Ghar Ration’ for its low income customers, whose livelihoods have been affected by the Kovid-19 epidemic. Under the program, ration kits will be supplied to consumers with an income of less than Rs 50,000, whose livelihoods have been affected by the Corona virus epidemic.
Features a door-to-door ration program
- Under this program, ration kits will be supplied to customers with an income of less than Rs 50,000.
- The ration kit will contain one month’s ration. It includes 10 kg of rice / flour, 2 kg of lentils, 1 kg of sugar and salt, 1 kg of oil, 5 packets of spices, tea and biscuits and other essentials.
- Ration kits are distributed by bank employees in rural areas. Employees in the urban area are providing Rs 1,800 pre-paid cards to affected customers, which can be used to purchase essential items.
- Employees under the pilot program have already successfully distributed 1000 ration kits in Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Haryana.
- Bank employees donated one day to one month salary for this purpose.
