HBO drama series are almost always worth a watch and are regularly regarded as some of the best shows on TV.
The Undoing continues that trend as it stars Hollywood heavyweights Hugh Grant and Nicole Kidman in a dramatic tale.
However, while the gripping twists and turns have enthralled fans, a number of viewers have been left asking questions about the show’s theme song.
The Undoing on HBO and Sky Atlantic
The Undoing arrived on HBO on October 25th in the US and on October 26th on the UK’s Sky Atlantic channel.
The new limited series tells the story of Grace Fraser, a successful therapist with a loving family and a book on the verge of publication.
However, a chain of destructive events threatens to unravel Grace’s perfect life.
The Undoing’s theme song: Does Nicole Kidman sing?

The song itself is a cover of Dream a Little Dream of Me which was first recorded 1931 by Ozzie Nelson and has been covered more than 60 times over the years.
Arguably the most famous version of Dream a Little Dream of Me came courtesy of The Mamas & The Papas in 1968 which featured in a number of music charts around the world.
Speaking in the behind-the-scenes video below, Nicole Kidman explains how she was persuaded to sing The Undoing’s theme song:
“Susanne Bier [the series’ director] calls me and says ‘I’ve had an idea, I want you to record the title sequence,’” Kidman explains, “and I was like ‘absolutely not.’
“And then she said ‘you have to’” Kidman said, “and then I went ‘ok’” she joked.
