Corona vaccine will be given to people above 60 years of age in the state from March 1, here free of cost.

The second phase of corona vaccination will start in Gujarat from tomorrow, i.e. from March 1. Vaccination will be started for sick people above 60 years of age and 45 to 59 years of age. Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has appealed to all the 60 lakh senior citizens of Gujarat to take advantage of this vaccination campaign and contribute to this crucial final stage of our fight against corona.

Under which the dose of corona vaccine will be given free of cost in the government hospital. A dose of Rs 250 will be charged for one dose of vaccine in a semi-government hospital. 250 for the second dose as well as Rs. 500 for two doses.

In his appeal, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani made it clear that “the state government has succeeded in curbing the spread of Corona from the very beginning due to the concern of everyone’s health. Now that the vaccination campaign against corona has started across the country, he has expressed confidence that our state will be in the forefront with the cooperation of all the senior citizens of Gujarat.

CM Rupani said, “Gujarat has become a beacon of the country in the fight against Corona with a number of effective measures and measures including intensive health care facilities like Dhanvantari Rath, 104 helpline, comprehensive surveillance.”
