Jeff Bezos, founder and owner of e-commerce giant Amazon, has decided to leave the company’s CEO, chief executive. He will resign as CEO later this year. He has been replaced by Andy Jessie (Andy Jassi) as CEO. He is currently the head of Amazon’s web services. Bezos made the announcement on Tuesday. Amazon Foundry has been the CEO for almost 20 years.
In a blog post written for employees, Bezos said they will now focus on new products and early initiatives being developed at Amazon. Bezos started Amazon as a startup. Launched in 1995, it is one of the largest e-commerce companies in the world today. Jeff Bezos, 57, said he would now focus on his welfare plans, such as his one-day fund in addition to the Bezos Earth Fund and other business ventures, including space exploration.
“I am delighted to announce that I have been appointed CEO of Amazon Board and Anti-Jesse,” Bezos wrote in a letter. I have full confidence in Aunt Jesse that he will be a good leader. It is understood that Amazon has announced its fourth quarter financial results ending December 31, 2020. The company has sold 100 billion in the last three months of 2020.
When Bezos was young, he was interested in computers from the beginning and earned a degree in electrical engineering and computer science from Princeton University and then worked for several Wall Street companies.
Amazon now makes movies, makes sufos, has its own grocery chain and is also working on plans to send satellites into space. During the Corona epidemic, Amazon was one of the few retailers that benefited buyers by booking online. Customers were booking online as shops and malls were closed.
