After the fire at the hospital in Rajkot, the system of Baroda and Surat came into action

After the fire incident at Kovid Hospital in Rajkot, the system was also alerted in Vadodara and a meeting was held under the chairmanship of the in-charge secretary Vinod Rao. Both the hospitals have a total capacity of 575 beds. 257 patients are in Gotri and 200 patients in SSG hospital. Both hospitals have a total of 100 ventilator machines. Of these, 53 patients are on ventilator at Gotri Hospital and 31 at SSG. Fire audits of public and private Kovid hospitals will be considered.

The fire department has been on high alert following a fire at Kovid Hospital in Rajkot. Evacuation work has been started at the hospital. A mock drill was organized in the wake of the incident.
