New Delhi: The Consulate General of India in Dubai has issued an advisory to Indian citizens. He has advised to avoid going to the center and said that he must go in a very urgent situation. Instead, use more electronic platforms as the number of Covid-19 cases grows in the city.

Over the past week, there has been an increase in cases of Covid-19 infection. Dubai has faced criticism globally for launching a business and easing curfews to attract tourists during the holiday season at the end of the year. “The Indian community, who wish to visit the embassy for commercial services, is advised to avoid non-essential visits,” the Indian embassy said in a statement.
Use an electronic platform without coming to the office
Physical use of various electronic platforms without visiting the embassy office, he said. As the largest foreign community, it has been instructed to strictly adhere to the Kovid-19 measures and guidelines issued by the UAE. All Indian citizens living in Dubai have a responsibility to follow the Covid-19 protocol of the Ministry of Health.

Gulf News reports that the Indian Consulate in Dubai provides services to 2.6 million Indian nationals living in Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain. As many as 3,525 new cases of coronavirus infection were reported in the United Arab Emirates on Thursday.
