I’ve been using the developers version of PS CC for a little over a month now, and I have a few comments to make. The latest developer version of PS CC is amazing and I’m sure that it will be the best in terms of features and usability. The transition is really smooth, and the (or most?) of the workflow improvements are cool and easy to use.
But I’m really dissatisfied with some aspects of the ‘developer version’, namely, the UI/UX. There’s a total lack of uniformity in the UI setup. Quite a bit of the stuff/options (e.g. the drop down list in the edits view) feel under-developed/under-polished and look ugly. Also, the 2D View Layers panel is really clunky and buggy. The Export/Save Dialog is a mess. The UI is horrible and not intuitive at all (for someone who’s coming from LR for the first time). Too bad the edges aren’t rounded. Do you have any plans to change the UI/UX?
Also, the PS settings dialog is a nightmare. Exactly the same in both versions: missing menus, forms etc. There are SO MANY BUGS, that I decided I don’t need to see the damn thing for any other specific changes.
Other than that, this is the best Photoshop version ever.
