MUMBAI: Bangalore’s Sandalwood drug racket has so far named several stars, including actress Ragini Dwivedi. One of them is Aditya Alva, brother-in-law of Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi. The FIR includes the names of 12 accused, Aditya Alva. Police have issued a search warrant for Aditya’s house.
Bangalore Joint Commissioner of Crime Sandeep Patil said a search warrant has been issued for Aditya Alva’s house near Hebel for ‘House of Lives’ and a search is being conducted there. He is known to be the brother-in-law of Aditya Vivek Oberoi and son of former minister Jivraj Alva. Aditya is also a popular face of parties. According to reports, Aditya has not been taken into custody. The Central Crime Branch (CCB) is investigating. Vivek Oberoi has not yet commented on the news.

Recently, drug tests were conducted on actress Ragini Dwivedi and Sanjana Galrani in the Sandalwood drug racket case. Police also charged Ragini with destroying the sample. It is learned that Ragini tried to spoil it by adding water to the urine sample. However the police later again asked for a urine sample and this time full care was taken. At the same time, Sanjana Galrani refused to undergo a dope test in the case. He issued a statement saying he was innocent. She was constantly protesting against the police.
