It is the birth anniversary of Kadar Khan, a veteran Bollywood actor and writer. On the occasion, family members, close associates and fans remembered Qadar Khan’s contribution to the industry. Qadir Khan talked about his film career in an interview. Meanwhile, he shared a case of films getting out of hand when he did not tell his friend Amitabh Bachchan about Sir Ji. It may be mentioned that he passed away on December 31, 2016. Kadar Khan said that he used to call Amitabh Bachchan Amit.

A Southern film producer once asked if he had met Sir G. Upon inquiry, it was learned that the producer was talking about Amitabh Bachchan. “After that, everyone started calling Amitabh Sir,” Kadar Khan said. However, he did not call Amitabh Sir. The films slipped out of his hands after that, he admitted. It may be mentioned that Kadar Khan has worked with Amitabh Bachchan in films like Adalat, Suhag, Muqaddar Ka Sikandar, Naseeb, Coolie. Apart from that, Kadar Khan also wrote dialogues for Amitabh Bachchan’s films like Amar Akbar Anthony, Satte Pe Satta and Sharabi. “My father loved one person the most and that was Bachchan Saheb (Amitabh Bachchan),” said Qadar Khan’s son Sarfaraz Khan. When I asked my father who he misses the most in the industry, his answer was Bachchan Saheb. I know, this was love from both sides.
